Let this be the beginning of a new struggle to end corruption in India. Obviously the corrupt politicians and bureaucrats will do whatever they can to oppose this movement. The more rich you are the more opposed you will be opposed to this movement. In India the rich and powerful will be the most to hate transparency and straightforwardness in public life. The degree of tax evasion you do and the amount of bribes you pay the officials, police and politicians is proportional to how rich you are. Obviously the corrupt politicians and bureaucrats like these rich people as they are their source of illicit income. It is natural that they don’t want the system to be transparent so that all their corrupt practices can be questioned and exposed by anybody in this country. Also the bill proposed by Anna Hazare and Co put forward provisions for accountability and transparency in all government matters. It also makes sure that the guilty are made accountable and brought to book in a speedy manner
